The attempt at art shots with a $100 camera and no lights

Photographing a motorcycle has been done by tons of professionals and amateurs alike. I lay no claim to any of my shots being worthy of viewing. At some point you gotta have a decent background clutter free and how about a damn light!

I'm a sucker for an easyriders kinda model layed up all over the thing too. Stay tuned - I'll set the timer on my canon, strip down, and straddle this bad girl!

Can't leave a running bike running for long...

Is it a natural engineer tendency to take things apart or an obsession with trying to get it perfect? I swapped out the handlebars on the shovelhead. While the apes have a cool factor to them I found I didn't like riding the bike that way. I didn't feel like the bike was all that nimble (remember it's a 1971 FLH) with my wrists over the top of my shoulders. So it's back to some low bars for now. I may desire a little more pullback but we'll keep rocking these until I get another wild hair.
